Vocations
The Sisters of Bon Secours are an International Religious Congregation of Catholic women in seven countries who bring to the world “Good Help to Those in Need”.
We invite women to become Sisters of Bon Secours!
A group of 12 women came together in Paris in 1824. They began to nurse the sick and the dying in their own homes demonstrating the healing presence of Christ through their compassionate care. The work has broadened since the early days, but the core intention stays the same, to bring the healing hand of Christ to the sick, the dying and those in need.
Today the Sisters of Bon Secours minister in healthcare, social services and in pastoral and community based ministries. We are women energized by the Spirit who are challenged today to live as Jesus did - “to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)
